I started with "For My Daughters" and was glad to read that that one is so special to you! It's my favorite so far. Then I read "The Secret Between Us" and was hooked. I recently finished "Family Tree" and can relate to that one on such a personal level b/c my husband never knew his own father until recently. We acutally reread some of the passages together b/c the resonated with us so. I LOVE these women and feel close to each one of them on different levels. I love how you weave the story thru these characters you present and then let them go the way us readers would love to see them go. I can't wait to read the rest of the collection as well as new ones to come! Thank you for letting me escape thru your books. I have been going thru some rough patches in life and your books really help me. 29 April 2008 lorbe I've read three of Ms. Barbara's novels "Flirting with Pete","The Vineyard" and "Three Wishes". "Flirting with Pete" was superb. I've been reading it over and over again and its getting nicer and nicer. Likewise with "Three Wishes". It is a moving tale and proves that death doesn't put an end to love. "The Vineyard" on the other hand is a very compelling story, very powerful and super grand. I am very much engrossed by her stories and I am very excited for "Family Tree". I am hoping to purchase it this month if my allowance would allow(lol)! Thanks Ms. Barbara!! I'm an EMT licensed in the state of TN and as you can guess I have a very stressful, but fullfilling, job. I read when I can to relax.
