"Hi! its me again....I just finished reading this wonderful novel last weekend and what I could really say that it is such a tear jerker novel! I Can't help it! Especially to those words that Tom would tell to Bree or vice versa......What makes this novel very special is because of the values that were inscribed to it for every reader to realize and understand the importance of life, friendships, family.faith and also love....and to all those who have already read this book and to those who are still planning to read this book, I have a question for you: "DO BELIEVE IN WISHES AND DESTINY?""

"My mom was the one who bought this book and after reading it, she gave it to me saying it was very touching and she liked it very much, and that I should read it too. When I did, I too loved the story. I loved it so much I really cant put it down! It showed everything from love to loss and how we should value each day of our lives. To this day, I can never forget the story of Tom and Bree."

"My dormmate bought this book but i was the first to read it. And this was the first book of BD I read, the first book that really made me cry and the first book that left me hurting after reading it. I was just moved by the story. I hurt for Bree, for Tom and for their child. I read this book last year but until now I'm scared to read it again even if I wanted to because I know, I'm going to cry and hurt all over again. But the book's really good and very moving! And this is the book that made me hooked into BD's works. Just amazing how this book moved me and even just thinking about the story, the feeling's still strong!!"

"A very moving story, a real thoughtfull story no matter what your beliefs in the hereafter. I found it very emotional towards the end even though I had figured out the end as it may happen. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in a very moving story. "

"Three Wishes... The Best book I've ever read. I share the tears with the other readers. I have to say that I had not read in a while, and I picked up the book, read the first few pages and I was hooked. I was not only hooked on Three Wishes but on the other books Barbara has written. I also cried and read the book again so I cried all over again. I recomend it to friends. "

"This is the best book I have ever read. I love all of Barbara's books, and I have read most of them. She said she cried writing it, I cried reading it. My children still tell people how I stood in the kitchen while cooking dinner and could not put this book down, and cried. I tell everyone; if you never read another book you have to read "Three Wishes" Great Book!! Thanks Barbara for all of your great books. I wait for your new ones with great anticipation. "

"The first thing I'd like to do is thank Barbara Delinsky for sharing this beautiful story. I find it interesting that so many people say they were suprised by the ending. I wasn't surprised at all. I saw it coming before the first wish was made, so naturally I thought I was prepared. As in real life, nothing could have prepared me for the emotions I felt. It was difficult reading those last pages because I could barely see them. It was a good thing it was after midnight and no one else was up, because at one point I was sobbing. I went to bed crying, and when I woke up I reread the ending again, afraid I'd missed something through the tears that had nearly blinded me the night before, only to cry all over again. Thank you again. I feel like my life is richer having known Tom and Bree. "

"This book gave me a inner peace. I felt a longing to be there, to help to understand her sadness. This book gives me hope that maybe somewhere in this cold and sometimes lonely world that poeple do care! "
— TH, Zachary, LA

"This is a book I have read many times and at the end, I always cry. I think it would make a great movie. THANK YOU!!! "

" Fantastic book, I couldn't it put it down. I have to thank you Ms Delinsky and a friend at the library for introducing me to "Three Wishes" "
— MAL, East Windsor, CT

"I just love this book I've read repeatedly and enjoy it each time. The connection between the characters just grows more the second time I read the book but makes me cry harder as well even the way the book finishes. I enjoy it more for just proving how fragile our time is. "
— SC, Darlington, UK

"Awesome, tugs at your heart strings, but proves love conquers all, would love to see a sequel."
— MS, Charleston, WV

"I love this one. I just finished it last night at 3:00am and was so crying and couldn't stop. I cried myself to sleep. I felt so sorry for Tom. But then glad that his family was there. I have dealt with a lot of death and this really touched me. I so love your books. Thanks again for taking me in the books with you, Margaret "
— MP, Bartlett, TN

"I loved this book! I cried so hard while I was reading it that I had to wipe my eyes to finish reading it. "
— DD, Logan, WV

"I read this book several years ago and fell in love with the characters and the story. My 15 year old daughter Olivia, has never shown much interest in reading rather than in art, however this past rainy Friday she asked me for one of my books to read, I decided Three Wishes should be the one. She finished it by Sunday afternoon and I now have Barbara to thank for opening up a window between my daughter and myself. She too fell in love with the book and is now reading Coast Road. "

"This was by far the sadest, yet best book I think I have ever read in my life. And I am only 21 so I haven't read a great deal of novels like this. Bree was so real and she had Tom who made her realize just what life was about.. "
— SA, Burk Falls, Ontario

"I have just finish reading this beatific novel and still it lingers on my mind. It is not a novel you easily forget or take simple thought on. It differ so much from the other novels I am used to reading. It holds that sweet sense to the very end and after you thought you cried all your tears, you cry again. I want to thank you for such a surreal fiction that captivates as a well as strikes you with a deep conviction of love and faith. You have done more than touch my heart with this book, you left a permanant imprint. "
— JS, Brooklyn, NY

"I love all of Barbara's books. She is by far, my favorite author. This was a real tear jerker. It is definitely one I'll read over and over. Thanks Barbara. "

"Three Wishes is a book i can relate to. The copy i read was a loan from the library. And after reading it, i had to own a copy myself. It was through searching for over 2 years that i finally got a brand new copy which happens to be the last copy on the shelf. Yes, today i am a owner of a copy of Three Wishes...it tugs the heart. Tears flow down continuously and the heart aches so much. It is a book so well-written that it tugs the reader's heart and mind into reality. Why i can relate to this book is i saw that light at the end of the tunnel in 1998 when i lost my 1st child in miscarriage. That light at the end of the tunnel was so strong in beckoning my whole towards it that there was no point of even looking back... yet i did not go towards it for voices around me were much stronger than that light. As such when i read the story about that light, i had to buy this book for i want to be able to reach out and read it over and over. Thanks babara for writing such amazing book that tugs the heart and mind. "

"I read this book and I thought it was a very good book, even though I cried and cried at the end of the book. I really wanted it to end with a good feeling and really it did, not at all how I expected the book to finish. I really like Barbara Delinsky's books, in fact, I've ordered more of hers too. "
— DE, Yukon, OK

"This was a wonderful book. I first heard it as a book on tape. Now I am reading it. It gives one comfort with the thoughts of death."
— JM, St Louis, MO

"When my sister asked me about the book, I thought in sadness because I just had finished the book when she asked me, but later I thought better and understood the book. It is not a sad story but a book with faith and hope. I learn so many things reading, it's complicated for me deal with things I just can't change like death and relationships, but one of the things I learned in the book was love more time possible and say that you love. Our life is short so you have make things before you havenīt the time anymore. I really loved the strength of Bree, her faith and courage for life. This book touched me so deeply like no book did before. I cried a lot like so many others readers, it's a beautiful story. Sorry about my English but I'm from Brazil and I'm just learning your language and I couldn't miss the chance of writing and give my opinion. "
— ED, Brazil

"Just a quick comment to let you know that this was the first of Barbara's books that I had the great pleasure to devour... and it definitely hooked me in. I have never cried so much over a book. The tenderness and sweetness of Bree and Tom..the sorrow and heartbreak... the absolute strength and conviction that was evident in Bree (as I've since discovered in all of Barbara's women) just made me fall in love with Barbara and I have yet to be disappointed. "

"Although I blew through this book rather quickly, it took me 3 days to read the last few pages. I'd start crying and have to stop. What a feel good book if there ever was one ! "
— MA, Concord, NH

"THREE WISHES is an uplifting story filled with scenes reminiscent of Norman Rockwell's portraits of small town America. The first half of the novel is a perfect romance, culminating with love declarations and proposals. Instead of abandoning the tale there, BD boldly pulls threads for a new pattern. The second half of the novel focuses on the sense of community and family -- and the mysteries of motherhood. THREE WISHES is a great and appropriate title, but it doesn't even hint of the complex richness of this novel. "
— LS, Hotchkiss, CO

"Although I am entralled with all of B.D.'s novels, my online bookclub, THE BABY BOOMERS, chose THREE WISHES for our December selection. It was an enjoyable read. We discussed what we would have done if we had three wishes. Most were surprised at the ending. READ it and explore this gifted author's works. "

"Once again, you have managed to anticipate (and capture in extraordinary fashion) the kinds of issues and relationships that concern me and many of my friends. ... Your [novels] are the only ones I consistently seek out; I know I will be moved in some way, most often to tears and admiration."
— CA, via e-mail

"This story touched my emotions like no other book I've ever read. ... Thank you for a wonderful book and for showing the world that that kind of love exists."
— JA, Matteson, IL

"I can say now that I have never read a more charming and heartwarming story in my life. One I would read again and again. Sort of like one of those favorite movies you watch once a year and cry every time. ... Thank you for warming my heart and giving such a gift as that novel."
